My Trip to Chennai – First Travel Story

I took a train from Nampally station @ 6.30 and train name is Charminar Express. I reached Egmore in the morning at 8.30 a.m. My friend was already there in the station so no worries of where to go. Reached Home, got fresh up and then started.

Day 1:

First went to Arignar Anna Zoological Park, also known as the Vandalur Zoo, which is a zoological garden located in Vandalur. It was so hot in the afternoon and we waited in the long queue for ticket entry. The ticket cost was Rs.30 for Adults. Finally got entry tickets and went inside. We saw many different types of animals and birds. We waited for Tiger to come but couldn’t see as the place was crowded.

In the evening we reached Marine Beach and stayed there nearly 3 hours. Spent some quality good time in the beach and friend and returned home. We ended the day with beach and it was memorable watching the waves in the night time.

Day 2: Started early the day as we planned to go to Puducherry. We opted for Bus starting from Pallavaram. We reached in the afternoon. It took around 3 hours to reach there. We first had our lunch and then went for the beaches in Puducherry.

Auto drivers were knowing only Tamil. Somehow we managed as my friend knows Tamil. We enjoyed there on the beach and returned in the evening back to home.

In the evening we went from there to Golden Globe. It was good. But we need to walk a lot to go near to it..

Day 3:  We went Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram is a town in Kancheepuram District. It is one of the beautiful places in Chennai you should definitely visit. The monuments are mostly rock-cut and monolithic and constitute the early stages of Dravidian architecture wherein Buddhist elements of design are prominently visible.

Day 4: I loved Chennai so much that I couldn’t come back home. So, I canceled my tickets and stayed one extra day and spent the day.First, we planned to go to Express Avenue Mall, then Besant Beach. In the evening we returned home and my train was at 6.30 so returned back to Hyderabad.

It was a short and memorable trip where I enjoyed with my Friends family members and also loved the beaches. It was my first visit to Chennai and I really loved the beaches and all. Would definitely love to again go to Chennai and enjoy the scenic sunset view of beaches.
